Announcing the 10th anniversary of the award-winning Taiwan Season showcase at Edinburgh Festival Fringe,  and a special 'commemorative' edition of Taiwan Season's acclaimed, forward-thinking symposium.

Launched in 2014, Taiwan Season has during the past decade developed a strong and sustained presence at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe thanks to its world-class range of dance, theatre, circus and music performance for both adults and children. Presented under the umbrella title A Glimpse of Taiwan, this years roster of carefully chosen productions runs a gamut from an acute, relationship-based fusion of dance and acrobatics (Duo) and envelope-pushing, female-led contemporary circus (#Since1994) to playful yet sobering physical theatre (The Way Back) and interactive, family-friendly fun (World in a Word). The four shows can be seen at Taiwan Seasons valued partner venues: Summerhall and Assembly.
Alongside these performances, to those who are interested in Connecting with Taiwan to celebrate a decade of the Taiwan Season performance showcase and consider from a wider perspective as members of the arts industry, 'Where do we go from here?'Guest speakers at this special retrospective edition of our award-winning symposium include Verity Leigh and Morag Deyes, curatorial allies from long-time partner venues Summerhall and Dance Base.
